Six Sentence Sunday

What is going on this week? Hmmm, looks like a bunch of scared kids to me.

~I squeeze Brit’s hand to get her attention. She looks at me; in this moment I know what I have to do to save her and Brad.

“I love you,” I mouth to her.

She mouths it back.

I turn around and shove Brit in the chest as hard as I can, knocking her through the entry to the cave, where I pray she’ll make it home to safety.

Shrieks of rage come from behind me; the creatures begin running. ~

  10. Thank you so much for all the comments. I can't say what happens next and I'm not sure I'll post much more from this chapter. Have to save something for my book, right? :-) Let's just say things don't end on a positive note. Hahahah. (That was evil.)

Really, I love hearing from everyone on Sundays. Makes all the stress of trying to find time to write worthwhile! ;-) Okay, it's worthwhile anyway, but I like having people enjoy what I write.
